By now most of you know about the symposiums that I sponsor periodically, specifically on my birthdays (both physical & spiritual). I have prepared a CD that explains all of that, so if you don’t know, or would just like more information regarding me or the symposiums, feel free to contact me and I will personally see to it that you get one.
Well, The Lord has directed me to sponsor a new event, this time a Gospel Sing, specifically an "All Night Gospel Sing" reminiscent of the "Old Time All Night Gospel Sings" such as the ones I remember from my youth that were held at The Mayhall Auditorium in Lakeland, Florida. My pastor has given me his approval, our church leadership is "on board", and so I have asked a Brother in Christ, Brother Art Carlton, who is a member of Ardella Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida to help me with arrangements, as well as the presentation. The event will be called "The New Hope First Annual All Night Gospel Sing", and as you can tell from the name, we intend for this to be an annual event.
The sing will be held on June 13, 2009 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Dover, Florida. Live worship music will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. You will experience 4 hours of a mixture old good old Southern Gospel music featuring the "old songs". We will break at 9:00 pm for a time of refreshments and fellowship. Our ladies will have an assortment of drinks and snack items available for purchase in our fellowship hall, and a love offering will be taken just before the break.
There will be numerous singers from New Hope, as well as from other churches in the area.

We will have a great time in The Lord. The Gospel will be presented in great power, mainly in song, so invite as many folks as possible … especially the lost. Christians will be ministered to and encouraged as well.
