Mission Statement
Where there is no vision, the people perish ... Proverbs 29:18
Every person, every corporation, every cause, in order to stay on target and to reach
full potential and productivity, needs goals to be set. In spiritual things, the Bible calls
it...Vision. (Prov 29:18)
The scriptures, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, are the source of that "Vision". (2 Cor 3:6)
The New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, under the head-ship of the Lord Jesus Christ, should
be a model Church for the Body of Christ made up of true believers everywhere. (1 Cor 12:27)
Our Sole Purpose
Is to bring glory to God by encouraging people:
A. To worship God in spirit and in truth. (Jn 4:24)
B. To feed the Saints with The Word, which is The Scriptures, and the presence of Jesus. (1 Pet 5:2)
C. To reach out with compassion to those in rebellion to the will of God. (Prov 11:30)
Body of Christ
The basic criteria of fellowship with other believers is three fold. They must believe:
1. That Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. (1 Jn 4:2,3)
2. That whatever the Scriptures say is so. (Acts 17:11)
3. That Christians have a blameless life-style. (Matt 7:21)
Our pastor is supported by a staff of loving, fully qualified deacons, teachers, musicians, youth leaders, counselors, and prayer warriors. We are fully committed to the cause of Christ ... to reach a lost and dying world who need Him so desperately.
